PANDAS

What is black and white and cute all over? That's right... Pandas!

Over the holidays I was able to visit the Giant Panda Research Center and see these furry guys for myself. It was awesome. It was like being at a really nice zoo but the only animal there were pandas.

Surrounded by bamboo we walked around in the rain seeing all different ages of giant pandas. A lot of them were quite active but remember...

We could only look and take pictures not hold or feed them. Instead we watched them eat all on their own.
Some had fistfuls of bamboo to choose from...
some would steal,or share.Others liked to relax and eat in style. Some just try to find a little privacy. Sitting around in the dusting of snow

or cuddling up to sleep are some of the activities in the life of a Panda. Some of the little guys just sack out in the trees when they are tired.
Others were on the move.
We could get fairly close to watch them eat and sleep. We even got to see baby pandas that were just the size of basketballs. They were really cute and funny to watch because not all of their senses and muscles were developed yet so they were really clumsy. Their eyes were not yet fully formed so we could not take pictures.

This is as close as I got to talking with a panda!
